Chris van Eekelen
Managing Director
Chris has over 30 years experience in the construction industry here in New Zealand and Australia. Chris is innovative with an entrepreneurial spirit, always striving to improve and succeed. Total Height Safety is a unique business which sits perfectly with Chris’s skills and knowledge, finding the best solutions for projects, and building a business which he believes in and can make a positive difference.
Sonya van Eekelen
Business Facilitator & director
Sonya owned a Robert Harris Franchise for 10 years which consolidated her business skills and gave her the ability to support Chris’s entrepreneurial drive. Her primary passion is working with people which is demonstrated in her 17 years in the health sector as a nurse. Sonya brings the team together and helps to drive and direct the business, promoting a culture of safety for the team as well as Total Height Safety clients.
Joshua van Eekelen
Installation and Inspection Manager
Joshua manages the installation team as well as overseeing the inspections area of the business. Years of practical on-the-job experience combined with the ability to form great working relationships means that Joshua is the perfect choice to manage our team of installers. Working closely with clients he ensures that each project is completed to the highest standard and within the project timeframe.
SHARLEEN RANKIN
OFFICE MANAGER
Sharleen brings extensive experience in process management and streamlining operations. She excels at identifying inefficiencies and implementing solutions to enhance both workflow and productivity. Her strategic mindset and attention to detail consistently drive successful outcomes, contributing significantly to our team.
JULIA BAARS
PROJECT DESIGN AND SALES CONSULTANT (NDQS)
Julia leads on many of our quotes and tenders and her methodical approach ensures that you get the optimum system for your needs. Coming from a Quantity Surveying background means Julia can price even the most complex project well. In her spare time, she enjoys theatre, handicrafts and spending time with family.
Harriet Rowe
Junior project pricing consultant (NZDCQS)
Harriet is a recent graduate from Ara Institute with a New Zealand Diploma in Construction Quantity Surveying (NZDCQS), Harriet brings fresh knowledge and enthusiasm to our team. Her academic background and keen interest in the field equip her with a solid foundation to tackle new challenges. Harriet is eager to expand her skills and contribute innovative ideas to our projects, making her a valuable addition to our team.
Cesar Filho
Project Manager
Cesar is our skilled Project Manager, overseeing all project communications with our clients. With years of experience in the field, Cesar is not only an excellent communicator but also possesses the expertise to ensure our installations are completed efficiently and on time. His attention to detail and efficiency makes him the perfect fit for managing our projects and maintaining strong client relationships.

Will has a wealth of experience as one of our longest-serving installers. Renowned for his professional yet approachable demeanor, Will has consistently earned high praise from site managers throughout his tenure. Leading our South Island installation team, he is dedicated to ensuring that every member receives comprehensive training to deliver exceptional workmanship and service to our clients.
LIAM VAN EEKELEN
INSTALLER
Liam has been installing up and down the country for a number of years and he brings great experience to all of our installs. He is currently mentoring some new installers so it is good to know they are in capable hands. When not installing Liam is working towards becoming an Aircraft Engineer.

Noah has been installing our systems for a few years now, growing his knowledge of new installation techniques. Noah works closely with our experienced technicians taking every opportunity to learn and grow in his trade. Noah's enthusiasm and willingness to learn make him a valuable team member.
Caleb van Eekelen
INSTALLER
Caleb has been a dedicated part of our team for a few years, steadily expanding his expertise in system installations. Working closely with our lead installers, he is consistently seeking out opportunities to enhance his skills and perfect his techniques. Caleb's passion for his work and commitment to continuous improvement make him an integral asset to our team.
Oscar Langridge
INSTALLER
Oscar is our newest team member, joining the installation crew with a strong desire to learn. He's currently gaining valuable hands-on experience from our senior installers, picking up new skills and knowledge every day. Oscar's enthusiasm and dedication are evident, and we're excited to see his growth as he continues to develop in his role.

Pete was a valued team member as our Auckland Manager for Total Height Safety, and we adored him as a friend, workmate and mentor to our younger men. Pete was full of life. His vibrant personality and great smile lit up any room or work site. He was a dedicated team player and brilliant fun to be around. Pete contributed to the success of our business, and we are forever grateful to his service and dedication. He is sorely missed and forever in our hearts.
