This beautiful, architecturally designed building is one of many throughout New Zealand that requires systems to ensure the safety of people who work at height to maintain the property. By being proactive, Dunedin City Council ensure all their buildings are compliant under our current legislation, including this theatre built 91 years ago.
Completed June 2019, this building required anchor points and horizontal lifelines. We needed to do this in two trips due to the steep pitch of the roof and the icy conditions that are synonymous with winters in Dunedin.
- 2 days
- 45 metres of lifeline (1 Line)
- 30 anchor points
- 25 metres of handrail
- 1 permanent access ladder
